One of the perks of being a Business student in NYC? The internships! Michelle Ledezma ’25 takes us along as she heads into her internship at the financial services company SMBC. A Finance and Management major and Economics and Accounting minor, Ledezma said the position and her courses keep her busy, but she loves how she's bridging her class work with real-world practice. "It's really nice that I can go to class and learn the principles and the foundation but then actually use them in my internship," she said. #GoGriffins #NYCCOLLEGE #accountingstudent #businessstudent

#MMCProud! Our extraordinary alums are doing extraordinary things! Here are some recent updates from the classes of 2023, 2019, 2016, and 2013. 🔵 Jasmine Ramos ’23 was a production assistant for "BARBA: A Brazilian Body Percussion Musical," which ran last month at the Pregones/Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre. The show was featured in Playbill, BroadwayWorld Spain, and on Univisíon, and all five performances were sold out. 🔵 Mattie Love ’16 is performing with Madonna on The Celebration Tour! Dance Magazine recently interviewed Mattie; check the link in our bio for the story! 🔵 In January, Chelsea Pollack-DeRario ’13 was named VP, Head of U.S. People & Culture, for Axel Springer, which owns Business Insider, Politico, Morning Brew, and Insider Intelligence. She began her career in Human Resources and Recruiting at BuzzFeed in 2013 and was the head of People Operations at Cheddar Inc. before joining Axel Springer. 🔵 Tony Russo ’19 recently made his Off-Broadway debut in Qui Nguyen's drama-comedy "She Kills Monsters" and also served as the show's fight choreographer! 🔵 Dylan Randazzo ’16 is starring in his first Sondheim show, "Sunday in the Park with George" at @AxelrodArts now through March 24. You can also catch Dylan as Cody in the upcoming indie feature "Band on the Run" later this year. Congratulations, everyone! 🥂 #Alumnituesday #marymountmanhattancollege #NYCCOLLEGE

What’s it like going to college in the world’s greatest city? Yesterday’s Accepted Students Day offered a taste! Faculty and staff, including Theatre Arts professors Emily Clark and Kenny Finkle, Linguistics professor Sue Behrens, Art and Art History professor Jason Rosenfeld, and Associate Director of Career and Professional Development Ryan Atwell, introduced students to the vast learning ecosystem that is NYC, with stops at cultural landmarks, lectures, and fun group projects. We can’t wait to see our next group of students at MMC’s April 14 Accepted Students Day event. Go to mmm.edu/visitcampus for more! GoGriffins! 💙 #NYCCOLLEGE

Check out these electrifying photos from @mmctheatrearts February production of IN TRANSIT. Be sure to swipe all the way to the end to see two of the musical’s writers (@sara.wordsworth and @jamez111) hanging out with the cast. They were gracious enough to attend the Sat production and stay afterward to chat. They were complimentary to everyone at MMC who put the production together and were impressed because they acknowledge how especially challenging this musical is. Major props to our theatre superstars! #MMCPROUD #GoGriffins #theatre #theatrestudent #NYCCOLLEGES
