Scholarships & Financial Aid

Many scholarships are available for academic achievement, talent, and extracurricular activities. And, you may be eligible for need-based financial aid. The only way to know if you’re eligible for financial aid is to apply for it, so absolutely apply.

 

MMC FIRST-YEAR STUDENT ACADEMIC MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS

Candidates must enter as a new first-year students. In addition, students must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, degree-seeking, and full-time status. 

MMC TRANSFER STUDENT ACADEMIC MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS

Candidates must enter as a new transfer student. In addition, students must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, degree-seeking, and full-time status. 

MMC InTERNATIONAL STUDENT ACADEMIC MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS

Candidates must enter as a new full-time, degree-seeking, international student. Students must not be a U.S. citizen, dual-citizen of the U.S., or permanent resident.

MMC FINE & PERFORMING ARTS SCHOLARSHIPS

These awards are bestowed to full-time, degree-seeking new first-year and transfer students. These awards do not require U.S. Citizenship. Awards range from $1,000 to $6,000 per academic year based on audition, interview, portfolio review, or other creative work requested. Renewal requires full-time status in the program, a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the major and 2.8 overall. 

SERVICE AWARDS

Marymount Manhattan welcomes students who participate in service organizations and give back to the community. 

ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIPS                  

The following awards are determined by the Financial Aid Office and granted to those who meet the specific criteria. Students must be enrolled full-time, degree-seeking, and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Note: These awards are not available every academic year as a limited number of students are awarded and receive the endowed scholarship over four years.                  

External Scholarships

We also encourage you to search for opportunities outside of the College. Start early and be sure you mark your calendar of all deadlines to apply for various scholarships.

Grants & Loans

You may be eligible for certain federal, state, and institutional funds to assist with financing your education at MMC. The only form you need to complete is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using MMC ‘s code 002769.
