To date, the generosity of alumni, parents and friends, has enabled us to raise $22.6 million towards our goal of $25 million. These contributions have increased financial assistance for numerous MMC students, provided the resources for the renovation of the Thomas J. Shanahan Library and the construction of The Lowerre Family Terrace and The Commons, and advanced academic achievement and research for MMC faculty. In order to secure a $1.5 million grant from the Kresge Foundation, we need to raise $2.4 million by March 31, 2010. The support of the entire MMC community is vital to our success.
