Application Checklist The items listed below are required to apply to Marymount Manhattan. After all
materials are received and reviewed by the Admission Committee, a decision will be made concerning your application. You may submit a paper application or
apply online.
Although personal interviews are not required,
campus visits are strongly recommended. Please

Freshmen Applicants
- Completed application
- Official copy of high school or secondary school transcript or GED score sheet and GED diploma (final transcript, with posted graduation date, required upon registration)
- SAT I and/or ACT scores (required if graduated high school within last 5 years)
- Two recommendations
- Essay (250-500 words)
- $60 nonrefundable application fee

(completed college credit or high school graduates enrolled in the first semester of college)
- Completed application
- Official transcripts from any and all post-secondary institutions attended
- Official copy of high school or secondary school transcript with graduation date posted

- Judicial Record Form (only required if previously attended another college)

International Applicants (non-US)
- Completed application
- Official copy of high school or secondary school transcript (must be issued on school stationary and mailed to our office directly or brought to us by the student in a sealed envelope --- it must list all classes taken each semester with the number of credits/ hours per week or month or semester with final grades earned) or GED score sheet and GED diploma (certified English language translation required, if applicable)
- Official transcripts from any and all accredited post-secondary institutions attended (evaluation may be required by World Education Services, contact Director of International Recruitment for determination (-transfer students only)
- TOEFL examination score (or IELTS score if English is not your native language), or SAT I and/or ACT scores if English is your native language. (must be sent to the College by the testing center, You can order the scores for free at the time of exam taking- our code is 2405 or for a fee later).
- I-20 application
- Two recommendations from academic or professional sources. If transferring from another college or university, complete only one recommendation and the Judicial Record Form
- Essay (250-500 words)
- F-1 Student Transfer Certification Form (if currently studying in the U.S.)
- Copy of biographical page of passport
- Personal Interview (recommended)

Re-Admitted Students

Additional Requirements (if applicable)
- Auditions/interviews required to be considered for the Theatre and Dance programs (Theater applicants must call to schedule auditions early as space is limited, priority deadline of December 15; Dance applicants are not required to call, only to submit the official Dance Application directly to the Dance Office.)
- Portfolio reviews/interviews required to be considered for an Art scholarship. Deadline to submit portfolio is February 1 (fall entry)/December 1 (spring entry).
- Personal interview (may be required)
- Students applying to the Program for Academic Access must submit documentation of a learning disability. Deadline to complete your application is March 1. You must submit all admission requirements AND your LD Testing to complete your application by the deadline.
- To be eligible for HEOP (Higher Education Opportunity Program), students must meet certain academic and financial criteria and be residents of the state of New York. Deadline to complete your application is May 1.
- To apply for need-based federal financial aid, complete the FAFSA after January 1.
- To apply for need-based state financial aid, New York State residents should file the TAP application.
