Get to Know a Griffin Transfer -

Eric Hasser

eric_hasser

Hometown: Clarksville, Maryland

Transferred to MMC: Fall 2010

Previous College: Howard Community College

Graduated from High School: June 2007

How did you choose MMC?

I received a recommendation from my community college transfer office. I visited the campus for a tour on "Transfer Tuesdays" (Instant Decision Day), and it seemed like a good fit for me.

What is your major?

B.A. Psychology

What is your favorite class?

I have several. My Political Philosophy class is very challenging. My Personality Psychology class

has taught me about many theorists€™ theories.

What do you feel is unique to the MMC Campus?

The campus is like a home-base small group of people who all seem to know one another. It is

nice to have a place to see familiar faces. Also, the city is so expansive, with a lot to do. Mostly

everything is within walking distance.

What extracurricular activities do you like?

I participate in the Psychology Club and WMMC Griffin Radio. I also like attending the Comedy Shmomedy and Nuts &Bults of Comedy Troupe performances on campus.

Future Goals:

I hope to work as either an addiction counselor, or in gerontology. I also might get a masters in Education to teach at the high school level.
