Computer Requirements
For computer use on campus, we recommend purchasing a laptop computer, MMC has partnered with Dell, Gateway and Macintosh Computers to give you the best deal offered with the following minimum specifications.
For Dell Computers:
Please visit Dell.com for special quotes for Marymount students. A list of laptop choices are preconfigured, or you may shop Dell for any of their computer systems and get a 12% discount! You may also call Dell at 866-535-3580.
For Other Computers:

call a selected account representative to place your
order.
For Macintosh Computers:
Visit Marymount's Mac Store You must have a Marymount login ID for this link to work. Follow the instructions to purchase a recommended

For students who plan to enroll in the
Communication Arts program and plan to
have a specialization in Digital Media,
Final Cut Pro software is a requirement
for this academic program (you may install this
software at a later date).
Two Ways to Purchase Your Mac
Extra Discounts Available for the aluminum MacBooks, MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro's.
Option 1: Custom configure your Mac.
1. Select your laptop from the tile on the front page of the store.
2. Configure.
3. Don't forget to add 3 Year AppleCare.

Additional Battery:
We recommend that each student purchase an
additional battery. Not all classes are electrically
wired to accommodate every student laptop.
Technical Support:
The college does not provide technical support for personal computers. We recommend that
students either purchase the extended technical support program through the individual
computer company or contact The Geek Squad at www.thegeeksquad.com
or Geeks on Call at www.geeksoncall.com. You may also contact Computer Overhauls at www.computeroverhauls.com, a company that gives Marymount Manhattan College a 15% discount.
