Residence Life
Marymount Manhattan College is home to approximately 760 residential students.
Incoming students who meet the priority deadline are placed in the 55th Street Residence Hall.
Transfer students are placed at the de Hirsch residence. Returning residence may choose to live in the Manhattan Park residence or the de Hirsch residence.
APPLYING FOR RESIDENCE
You must be admitted to the college prior to applying for residency. To apply for residency, please fill out the online Residence Hall Application and submit the $500 deposit which can be paid online using e-cashier. You will need your new student login and password that was mailed to you before you can use this application. You will be required to either pay online, visit CSS with, or mail in your non-refundable application deposit of $500.00. This deposit is in addition to the required $200 tuition deposit for first-year students. The application cannot be processed without the deposit. Once an assignment has been made, the $500 deposit is applied towards housing fees. When completing the application, we ask applicants to please be truthful when answering the questions. If a specific roommate is requested, both parties must request each other in order for the request to be considered. For first-year students, all housing applications and deposits are due by May for the fall and December for the spring semester. Housing and preference requests are assigned on a first-come basis and are not guaranteed.
In early June, the application will be processed. At that time, students will receive a residence hall assignment and more information about housing. Specific room assignments and roommate information will be sent in August once the student's room and board bill has been paid in full.
