Marymount Manhattan

Department of English and World Literatures

As an EWL major, your learning begins in the classroom but it extends well beyond it.  There are many opportunities to move beyond the classroom both at MMC and throughout NYC!

At MMC, you can join the editorial team of the Marymount Manhattan Review or the college newspaper, The Monitor.

You can also join the Marymount Literary Society and qualified majors are invited to induction in Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society.

Outside of MMC, you are living and learning in a city rich with literary history and culture.  Take advantage of everything that New York City has to offer!
