Student Opportunities

Students are encouraged to explore learning experiences outside the classroom through study abroad programs, or credit-bearing internships that take full advantage of the many opportunities that are available in the metropolitan area.

The New York Advantage

Students can take advantage of the fact that New York City is host to international corporations and several international organizations such as the United Nations, Council on Foreign Relations, the Ford Foundation, Human Rights Watch, International Women’s Tribune Center and the World Policy Institute.

Study Abroad

Students are also strongly encouraged to study abroad as part of their curriculum. Recently students have lived, learned and pursued service work in diverse places including South Africa, Ecuador, Senegal, Jordan, France, India and Brazil.
