Student Opportunities

The community of students who choose to concentrate in PHIL/RS at MMC is small and self-selecting, but we have formed a lively community of student-scholars who share a commitment to living the examined life. Full-time and adjunct faculty are available to our majors. And the Philosophy and Religious Studies Clubs at MMC actively promote events and social gatherings to promote community and connection.


The Philosophy Club

The Philosophy Club is an open discussion on current issues held monthly in the college’s Library Writing Center. The Club provides opportunity for students, faculty and staff to gather informally to discuss topical issues.

So he worked with faculty member Carrie-Ann Biondi and developed <em><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBccspWcyyU" target="_blank">Cogito</a></em>, the world’s first philosophy card game.
