On May 24, 2013, 319 graduates participated in Marymount Manhattan College’s 64th Commencement Exercises at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center.

Commencement featured the traditional procession of faculty, administrators and graduates. The ceremony was led by David Podell, Ph.D., Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty. Remarks were presented by President Judson R. Shaver Ph.D., and Chairman of the Board of Trustees James E. BuckmanImam Yusuf Hasan delivered the invocation and Rabbi Philip Hiat presented the benediction. 

Marymount Manhattan College presented honorary Doctorates of Humane Letters to arts educator and former Board of Trustee Member Judy Carson ‘03, and to treasured, retired faculty member Tibor Farkas.

Valedictorian Sofija Gligorov ‘13, business major, and senior class speaker Raghib Allie-Brennan ‘13, interdisciplinary studies major, addressed their classmates during the ceremony. Kathleen Elizabeth Monteleone ‘05 performed The Star Spangled Banner.
