Alberto del Saz, adjunct faculty member and Artistic Director of the Nikolais/Louis Foundation for Dance, is currently teaching students choreography including, Crucible and Tensile, among others. The students rehearse at least ten hours per week to perfect their performance of the choreography. The repertoire includes many challenging props and one piece is performed in only black light. On November 8th, students performed selected works for the other dance majors and received overwhelming support. Everyone left talking about how proud they were to be members of the MMC Dance Department. The dancers will perform in Kunming and Beijing.
