English & World Literature Alumna Katie Coyle wins Pushcart Prize

Congratulations to MMC Alumna Katie Coyle for winning a Pushcart Prize for her story, “Fear Itself,” which was published in One Story Magazine.

Marymount Manhattan College Alumna Katie Coyle ’08, who majored in English and World Literature and minored in Creative Writing, has won a Pushcart Prize for her story, “Fear Itself,” which was published in One Story Magazine.

Katie received her MFA in Fiction from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012. Her writing has been published in The Southeast Review, Cobalt, and Critical Quarterly, among others. Her debut Young Adult novel Vivian Versus the Apocalypse was published in England in 2013 and published in the US as Katie received her MFA in Fiction from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012.
