Our Production Faculty are Doing Big Things This Spring!

MMC’s media production faculty are busy presenting their work to the public this season!  Here are some updates and opportunities to join:

 

Sarah Nelson Wright will present her augmented reality project INVISIBLE SEAMS at Codes and Modes: Reframing Reality, Virtuality and Nonfiction Media on Friday, March 17th at noon.  This conference about augmented and virtual reality at Hunter College is free and open to the public.

Edrex Fontanilla will be showing new media installations OVERLOOKED 2.0 and TEMPEST in the juried exhibit Digitalia at the Barrett Art Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.  The opening on Saturday, March 18th, 3-6pm is free and open to the public.  The show run until April 15th.

HUNTING IN WARTIME, a documentary edited by Prof. Erin Greenwell, will screen at Inwood Film Festival on Saturday, March 18th, at 8pm.

Dan Hunt’s short fiction film, ASSISTED LIVING, was just awarded a grant from the New York State Council for the Arts and invited to premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival in April.
