Chris Pinnella ’07 To Debut Illuminate: An Evening of Classical Crossover’s Best

Chris Pinnella will be accompanied by MMC alumna Jenna Ushkowitz ’07, an eight-piece orchestra, and a 12-person choir of MMC students on Wednesday, March 28, at Feinstein’s/54 Below in Manhattan.

Pinella will be performing a collection of what he calls, the “Most Powerful, Melodic, and Inspiring Songs Ever Written.” He will be putting his on twist on timeless songs including “Caruso,” “Cinema Paradiso,” and “La Vie En Rose” to be followed up by Bruce Springsteen’s “If I Should Fall Behind” done a cappella in four-part harmony.

Pinella graduated from MMC with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts. He has performed in Broadway national tours as well as Off-Broadway and regional productions. Most recently, he toured and recorded with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
