Marymount Manhattan College Opens Its Doors to Elon University

Marymount Manhattan College has long been a destination of choice for ambitious and determined students - even students from other colleges.

Elon University, a private liberal arts university North Carolina, is introducing its “Elon in New York City” program, wherein students will have the opportunity to live, learn and intern in New York City through a partnership with MMC. The program includes several components that offer a distinctive, engaged learning experience.

In addition to taking 12 credit hours at Marymount Manhattan, a professional development course will be taught by an Elon staff member. Through this course, students will assess their strengths and interests to create a professional plan through networking with career professionals, including Elon alumni. The course will also have an internship component to allow students to gain an extra two to four hours of credit while gaining pre-professional experience.

The Summer Term Elon in NYC program was enrolled to capacity in early February, weeks before the application deadline. In the semester program’s pilot year, fall enrollment will be limited to 20 students.
