Dr. Tibor Farkas was born and educated in Budapest, Hungary. After the revolution of 1956 he left his native country and continued his studies at the University of Brussels, Belgium. In 1961 he received the degree of “licencie en sciences politiques et diplomatiques.” He came to the United States in 1961 and continued his studies at the New School for Social Research. In 1968 he was awarded the degree of Ph.D. in political science.
He teaches part time at Marymount Manhattan College. His main research interests are in constitutional law and criminal justice. He has developed the first online courses in Marymount Manhattan College, and has served as webmaster of the College.
