The following is a checklist of items you will want to complete to ensure your pay is processed in the most accurate and convenient manner for you.
Log into Ceridian Self Service
- You will be able to access on or after your first paycheck. To access Ceridian Self-Service, you can click on the link below. You can also connect directly to the Ceridian Self Service site at https://sourceselfservice2.ceridian.com/marymount
- You will be prompted to enter your User Name and Password on the login page.
User Name: The first letter of your first name + your complete last name
First Login Password: The last four digits of your social security number
- Once you have successfully logged into Self-Service for the first time, you will be required to change your password. Your password must be between 6 and 20 characters and contain a combination of numeric and alpha characters. Spaces and apostrophes are prohibited. The password is case sensitive.
Update your tax information
Students may be exempt for having federal and state taxes withheld from their pay (please read tax form instructions to ensure you are exempt). In order to do this, you must select EXEMPT on the electronic W4 form. To update your tax information, please log into your Ceridian Self-Service account and select Federal Tax Form (W-4) under the Payroll & Tax section, make any necessary changes, and save TWICE. Please note, you must complete this form every calendar year if you are electing to be exempt.
New York Residents will need to complete the separate tax form. Exempt workers will need to complete the IT-2104-E NY Exemption for Withholding Tax Form (attached). This form will have to be completed each calendar year in order to be exempt. Nonexempt employees should complete the IT-2104 NY Withholding Allowance Tax Form available for download from self-service. Either form should be completed with the appropriate information, printed, and returned to the Payroll Office.
Set up for direct deposit
If you would like to enroll in direct deposit for future pay periods, select Direct Deposits also under the Payroll & Tax section to provide the necessary bank information.
A “prenote period” will take place for all new accounts and/or changes to verify account numbers with the bank. One payroll period will elapse before the direct deposit becomes active.
View my pay stub
You can view and print all of your pay stubs online by selecting Earnings Statements under the Payroll & Tax section and then select the check number for the pay stub you wish to review. Please note, once you enroll in direct deposit, you will have to view (and print, if you choose) your pay stub online.
Enter your Personal Information
Please be sure to enter an email address if you would like to be kept informed of important payroll updates. You can also update address information, change your password, and other important information. Please note, updating this information with the Center for Student Services does not also update your info here.
