Principles for Third Party Employers
According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), third-party employers are defined as agencies, organizations, or individuals recruiting candidates for temporary, part-time, or full-time employment opportunities other than for their own needs. This includes entities that refer or recruit for profit or not for profit, and it includes agencies that collect student information to be disclosed to employers for purposes of recruitment and employment.
Adapted from the National Association of College’s and Employers (NACE) Principles for Professional Practice.

Third-party employers may register and attend career fairs and other on campus recruitment events with the following requirements: A job posting must be created and posted prior to the fair for verification of the organization(s) you are recruiting for (administrative view only)—including internal hires—along with the associated position(s). This needs to be emailed to Matthew French, Employer Liaison.
On Campus Recruitment Opportunities
CAREER FAIR: Career Services offers two Career Fairs each academic year. Emails invites are sent through our email listserve two months prior to the event each semester. To be added to this list, please email your information to email@example.com. Due to limited space, employers must submit an application to the fair. Submission of application does not guarantee a place at the Career Fair.
MMC Career Launch Summit: This event is a full day event held in the spring semester for student to network with employers. The day starts with a Keynote Speaker, then there is a networking mixer, then panels based on industry and then a closing Keynote. This event is free for you to attend to speak with MMC students and alums. It is a great way to pre screen for possible jobs and internships as each attendee brings a resume and after the program we send you a resume book!
MOCK INTERVIEWS: In this program you would come to campus and have interviews with students. We would provide you an Interview Evaluation Form to give feedback on a student’s interview skills. After the interview a Career Services Counselor will meet with the student to discuss the feedback. This is a great way to interview possible candidates for your positions.
INFORMATION SESSIONS: In this program we invite interested students to listen to a representative from your organization speak about the career field you are representing, ways to prepare for the field, information on your company, and the opportunities you offer. The session ends with a Q&A.
EMPLOYER SPOTLIGHT TABLE: In this program you are given a table in our Student Commons during peak hours (12:00pm-2:00pm). Students are invited to meet with you and share their resumes. It is a high traffic area and a great way to get your company known!
SITE VISIT: In this program a Career Services staff member coordinates a visit to your company/organization. The event can include, but is not limited to: tour, speakers from your organization, internship information, students bring resumes for positions.
