Career Services at Marymount Manhattan College offers a full range of individual career
counseling sessions and career-related workshops and seminars intended to allow students
and alumni to define, develop and implement career plans and pursue lifelong professional
development. Topics of sessions and workshops include:

- Career Inventories and Transferable Skill Identification
- Graduate and professional school advisement
- Fellowship and scholarship information
Full-time employment, part-time job and internship listings are available online through the
MMC Career Connection. Access the database here. Listings are tailored for MMC students and include positions with businesses and cultural institutions, non-profits, schools and community service agencies.
Career Services sponsors two Career Fairs each year and offers access to college and
employer events around New York City. Campus visits by organizations such as the
Fulbright Commission, The Peace Corps and the Hispanic Association of Colleges &
Universities make it possible for students to reach out for global study and work
Internships are a key part of student career development at Marymount Manhattan. Students begin the internship process by making an appointment with a career counselor. Internships may be secured through the Career Services Office, consultation with faculty or by the student. Many MMC students take internships for academic credit. Eligibility is based on having completed thirty credits (transfers may apply after completing 15 credits) and maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.8.
