MMC Alum Sworn into CT State Legislature
Raghib Allie-Brennan
International Studies major Raghib Allie-Brennan ’13 assumes his position as State Representative in Connecticut’s Second District today.
Allie-Brennan has been named vice-chairman of the House Energy and Technology Committee and has also been appointed Assistant Majority Leader.
He will serve Connecticut’s Second District, which encompasses the towns of Bethel, Danbury, Redding, and Newton.

MMC’s Model UN Team Earns Recognition at National Conference
It’s a win for MMC! Though our Model UN Team only recently made its debut—President Avery Lauren Thomas ’25, Vice President Isaac Smith ’25, and Secretary Hannah Adames ’26 established the group this semester—that didn’t stop them from competing in the prestigious National Model UN New York Conference in April and scoring an honorable mention award.
