Science Senior Spotlight: Cassidy Illum ’21

Cassidy Illum ’21 is graduating with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences, a B.S. in Public Health, and a minor in Environmental Studies. She has accepted a full-time research job at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan.

Cassidy Illum ’21 is graduating with a double major in Biomedical Sciences and Public Health, plus a minor in Environmental Studies. Starting in June, she will begin her new job as a research technician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in the Integrated Genomics Operation as a part of the EXPAND team. This year she is also studying for the MCAT in hopes of applying to medical school. She would like to specifically thank the MMC Natural Sciences Department for supporting her through this journey and Dr. Aguanno for being the best research mentor anyone could ask for.
