Paul C. Lowerre ’81

An alumnus of MMC, Class of 1981, Mr. Lowerre was elected to MMC’s Board of Trustees at its March 2009 meeting and has served with distinction for 12 years. He is currently a Senior Vice President of Investments- Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services, Inc. Mr. Lowerre has been with UBS in various positions since 2000 and was previously at PaineWebber Inc. and Kidder Peabody & Co., Inc. He attended the University of Pittsburgh Katz School of Business after receiving his BA degree in Political Science from Marymount Manhattan College. Mr. Lowerre served as Chairman of the Board of Franklin College, a liberal arts college in Lugano, Switzerland and was awarded an honorary degree in 2011; and is a board member of the Friends of Hildene, Robert Todd Lincoln’s historic family home in Manchester, Vermont. Mr. Lowerre provides advice to several non-profit organizations. He is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association, the Association of Governing Boards, and fi360, a think-tank on Fiduciary Standards of Care. Mr. Lowerre has served MMC’s Board of Trustees, with distinction, as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Governance Committee. He has also been a major donor to MMC, supporting the creation of the Lowerre Family Terrace and maintaining an ongoing multi-year pledge to support the College.
