About

Cassie Okenka holds a Certification of Distinction in Vocal Pedagogy from Boston Conservatory at Berklee and a Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre from Baldwin Wallace University’s Conservatory of Music. She is a member of NYC-NATS, PAVA, and studied 3 levels of Somatic Voicework. Her teaching emphasizes healthy foundational vocal production to meet the rigorous demands of singers with careers in musical theatre. In her performance life, Cassie was last seen in the Original Broadway Companies of School of Rock (Ensemble U/S Patty) and Bonnie and Clyde (U/S Bonnie). She has traveled the country in the First National Tour of Wicked
(Glinda and Nessarose U/S) and The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy). She resides in Brooklyn with her husband and rescue dog, Bandit.
