Mary Fleischer is a Professor of Theatre Arts and teaches courses in directing, dramatic literature, performance theory and history, and producing. She holds a Ph.D. in Theatre from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, and her interdisciplinary interests have inspired performance and research activities, including her book, Embodied Texts: Symbolist Playwright-Dancer Collaborations. She received the MMC Teaching Excellence Award in 2005.
