“MMC has given me the ability to successfully balance being a single mom and full-time student, while still providing for my family. My time at MMC has also allowed me to find myself and carve my path. The school and my professors were extremely supportive of me, my talents, and my plans for the future. I am extremely grateful for my time at Marymount Manhattan, which has shown my children it is never too late to follow your dreams, and that anything is possible with focus, determination, and the right support. I know my journey does not end here; this is just the beginning of a new adventure. I am so excited to see what happens next.”
About
I was drawn to MMC for their Fashion Marketing concentration in Business. I loved the location, the size, the diversity, and inclusion. Along with Fashion Marketing, I decided to also study Studio Art, as they complement each other well. I have received numerous scholarships based on academic achievements, as well as artistic talent. I have received encouragement from my professors to apply for Honors Day, a faculty sponsored day celebrating the accomplishments of their students in academic excellence and had the honor to present my works to the college at large. I worked on projects in classes that have provided skills to achieve success in my current field and will translate to future fields. The knowledge I gained, and support received by the faculty have opened so many doors and so many opportunities I never thought possible.
