About Evelyn:

Evelyn Dugan is an experimental contemporary ballet and modern dancer/choreographer/performer. She was born in NYC and is a German/American dual citizen pursuing a BFA in Dance concentrating in Ballet and a BA in Business concentrating in Media, and Arts Management at Marymount Manhattan College (2025). She creates through movement-based collaborations, inspired by the legacy of artists before her while working to create her own. As an inaugural member of The Lawrenceville School Dance Company, she began choreographing and has since choreographed at Marymount Manhattan College, Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts (EMIA), and Bridge for Dance’s Uptown Rising. Evelyn is a collaborator with Bob Wilson and his team and was an artist in residence at the Watermill Center. She premiered her own work “Taut Nature” and performed in Bob Wilson’s “Ubu” for their 2023 Annual Summer Benefit presented by Van Cleef & Arpels. She trained at Princeton Ballet School under Pamela Levy, Martin Center for Dance with Douglas Martin and Mary Barton, and The Lawrenceville School with Derrick Wilder. She attended intensives at Alonzo King Lines Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, EMIA, and The Graham School on scholarship. Evelyn is currently a teaching assistant at Broadway Dance Center’s Children and Teens Programs.
