The Marymount Manhattan College Experience Program allows qualified high school students to enroll in MMC courses for college credit during their sophomore, junior or senior year of high school. Students will pay only the per credit tuition cost as other standard fees are waived. Students who are admitted into the program will have the opportunity to sample different academic majors prior to enrolling in college, gain deeper knowledge of one or more particular subjects, get a head start on their college education, or just preview the college academic environment.
Each semester, high school students will be able to take entry-level college courses in subject areas such as Art, Business, Math, Science, English, History, Philosophy and Religious Studies, Psychology. Completed coursework will earn you college credit that can be applied toward your MMC degree or transferred to another college you plan to attend after graduation from high school.
While enrolled in the College Experience Program students have access to the College’s student facilities, including the library, during all regular hours of operation. Students have access to any of the lectures and other free events open to the student body. And they are eligible for free or discounted tickets to all of the College’s theatre and dance productions.
Participation in the College Experience Program is open to any qualified high school student who is a rising sophomore to rising senior. The student must be at least 15 years of age by the start of the term they are registered for.
