    Located in New York City, one of the fashion capitals of the world, MMC’s Fashion Marketing concentration is designed for students who want to combine their passions for fashion and business. This business-focused concentration will prepare you to understand the complexities of the fashion industry. Learn how to develop, market, and distribute fashion products to the right consumer, and how to establish a socially responsible and sustainable business. Your experience will be enriched by guest speakers, client-based projects, and field visits to companies. 

    What You Will Learn

    • You’ll learn foundational principles and professional skills across business disciplines in courses including: Marketing. Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, Accounting, and Information Technology.
    • As a student in the Fashion Marketing concentration, you’ll graduate with: critical thinking skills, problem-solving creativity, cultural competency, and the vision to lead and implement change in the fashion industry.
    • You’ll explore the intersection between business and fashion, including courses like: The Business of Fashion, Fashion Marketing and Branding, The Social Psychology of Dress, Global Fashion Business and Supply Chain, Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, and Fashion, History and Society

    Global Fashion Business: London and Paris (Faculty-Led Travel Course)

    Business is international. So why shouldn’t your education be? Learn firsthand how a global supply chain can affect another part of the globe. Faculty-led travel courses are short-term study abroad opportunities. Students in our Global Fashion Business course have visited London and Paris, two of the world’s fashion capitals.

    The business department and the Fashion Marketing Student Association host an annual fashion show. A recent show was produced alongside the Asian Students Association and it celebrated and honored the wide range of cultures in our campus community.
