You are creative and unique. You want to shout from the rooftops who you are and what you believe. You want to express yourself.

We’re here to listen, closely.

We want to know about you: the real you. Not just the tests you took or the grades you got. Tell us a story—the story of YOU.

Zero in on a moment in your life that shows how you’ve changed or lets you reflect. Tell us what excites you, what you’ve thought deeply about, what you strive for. Most of all, focus on YOU—how you felt, what you experienced, why you were transformed. It’s you we’re interested in. It’s your story we’re excited to hear.

At MMC, you are not a set of academic credentials. You are a whole person, and you deserve to be seen and known.

Our goal is to ensure access and equity in our admission process by eliminating obstacles you may face when completing the application process. To this end, MMC is test-optional for Fall 2023 domestic applicants and will no longer require an application fee.

Note, this policy does not affect academic scholarship offerings. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Admission.

You're watching the evolution of Professor Hallie Cohen's stunning ink painting "One Arte." The work is part of her new exhibition, MI RICORDO: ROMAN WATERCOLORS, on display at MMC's Hewitt Gallery of Art from Feb. 26-April 2. Join us for the opening on Thursday, February 29, from 6-8 pm. The exhibition consists of 12-foot by 5-foot watercolor/ink paintings Cohen produced at the American Academy in Rome in the Visiting Artists and Scholars program. They capture iconic images from the films of Italian directors Federico Fellini, Pier Paolo Pasolini, and Paolo Sorrentino and are accompanied by short videos by the author and essayist Francis Levy. The show's opening reception will include a panel discussion with the artist and MMC Professors Adrienne Baxter Bell and Noelle Griffis moderated by Levy in The Judy (8th floor Carson Hall) from 6:30-7:30 pm. #MMCProud #artinnyc #artistslife #nyccollege

At MMC, some of our model students just happen to be working models. As Spring New York Fashion Week comes to a close, we’re celebrating Griffins who balance coursework and shoots, RSOs and the runway. Here are just a few! 📸 1-2: That’s Dance and Journalism major Harley Fleschner ’27, who walked for the designer @jazmanyjovany in a show hosted by 212Group last Thursday. 📸 3-4. You can find Musical Theatre major Destiny Nyree McCullough ’25 in the beauty aisle! She’s gracing the box of the #1 hair color brand for Black women @darkandlovely. Even sweeter, she booked that opportunity all on her own! 📸 5-6. Musical Theatre major London Riley ’24 models for the fashion line @Hestaverse and walked in last Friday’s House of Yes show. She’s also featured in Renee Cafaro Atelier’s (@rcapubliclabel) online body positivity campaign. #MMCProud 💙 Griffins: If you participated in Fashion Week, too, or have other wins you want to share, DM us!

Watch them shine! MMC alums are making big moves—check out these career updates from the Classes of 2023 and 2018. ⭐️ MT ’23 alum Emily Pandal recently released her sophomore single “Mothballs” on all streaming platforms. (Tap the link in our bio to listen!) She's working on an EP this year. Oh, and the cover art? It was created by fellow Class of 2023 MT alum Morgan Southwell. ⭐️Dance alum Emily Sindoni ’18 is Director of Training and Programming at the boutique fitness studio DanceBody. They offer dance-inspired fitness classes at their two NYC locations in NoMad and TriBeCa. ⭐️BFA Acting alum Fionella Mateo ’23 has been on a roll: She spent last summer working as a dresser for the "Hamilton" (Angelica Company) tour during its last stop in Puerto Rico. After that, she served as stage manager for various plays, including "Skintight" by Joshua Harmon and "La Boda de Ella," by Miguel Rosa-López. She also taught musical theatre at her high school alma mater, where she proudly announced their first musical season since 2021. Next month, she'll make her directing debut with Teatro CeDIn's production of "Into the Woods."  Congratulations! 💙 #MMCPROUD #GoGriffins
