First-year Student Scholarships

Our merit awards are based equally on your SAT or ACT composite scores and your high school GPA at the time you are admitted. Students selecting to apply test-optional will be considered for the same scholarship amounts.

Presidential Scholarship

Eligible students receive up to: 

  • $22,000 per year (Liberal Arts)
  • $17,000 per year (Visual and Performing Arts)

Renewal is based on full-time status with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Awards are applied to fall and spring semesters only, for a maximum of four years.

Dean’s Scholarship

Eligible students receive up to:

  • $20,000 per year (Liberal Arts)
  • $16,000 per year (Visual and Performing Arts)

Renewal is based on full-time status with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Awards are applied to fall and spring semesters only, for a maximum of four years.

Trustees’ Scholarship

Eligible students receive up to:

  • $18,000 per year (Liberal Arts)
  • $15,000 per year (Visual and Performing Arts)

Renewal is based on full-time status with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Awards are applied to fall and spring semesters only, for a maximum of four years.

Achievement Award

Eligible students receive up to:

  • $16,000 per year (Liberal Arts)
  • $14,000 per year (Visual and Performing Arts)

Marymount Manhattan Scholarship Award 

Eligible students receive up to:

  • $10,000 per year (Liberal Arts)
  • $10,000 per year (Visual and Performing Arts)

Renewal is based on full-time status with satisfactory academic progress. Awards are applied to fall and spring semesters only, for a maximum of four years.
