First-Year Applicant

Students from all over the country, and the world, apply each year to begin their college career at MMC. We hope you will be one of them.

At Marymount Manhattan College, our goal is to ensure access and equity in our admission process by eliminating obstacles our incoming students may face when completing the application process.

Effective immediately, Marymount Manhattan College will be test-optional for our Fall 2023 entry term and will no longer require an application fee.

Choose your Admission Plan

Early Decision: This is a binding admission plan and you should only choose it if MMC is your first choice. Applicants to the Dance and Theater Arts programs may not choose this due to timing of auditions. In addition, HEOP applicants should not choose this plan. If accepted and you agree on the financial aid package, you will be required to attend and must withdraw all applications to other schools. You must submit an Early Decision Agreement signed by you, your parents, and your high school counselor. If you are not accepted early decision, your application will be rolled over into regular decision for review. The deadline to apply is November 1 and you will be notified of a decision by November 21. You must submit your tuition deposit by February 15.

Early Action: This is a non-binding admission plan. You are free to apply to other colleges and compare financial aid packages before making a final decision. If you are not accepted early action, your application will be rolled over into regular decision for review. The deadline to apply is December 1 and you will be notified of a decision by January 3. You must submit your tuition deposit by May 1

Regular Decision: This is a non-binding admission plan that allows for more flexibility in the admissions timeline. You are free to apply to other colleges and compare financial aid packages before making a final decision. The deadline to apply is March 1 and you will be notified of a decision by April 1. You must submit your tuition deposit by May 1

Regular Rolling Decision: This is a non-binding admission plan and is the most flexible. You are free to apply to other colleges and compare financial aid packages before making a final decision. Applications are reviewed and notifications sent on a rolling basis. You must submit your tuition deposit by May 1

Note: All students are reviewed on the regular rolling admission plan for summer and spring terms.
