  • Allison Canzanella   Allison Canzanella  

    “I work for the live events department at Mattel, under HIT Entertainment, oversees the licensing and branding for national tours, one-off appearances and installations for Fisher Price characters including but not limited to Bob the Builder, Mike the Knight, Angelina Ballerina and more!  We work with different promoters and organizations to oversee the merchandise, story lines, production, ticket sales, marketing and the launch.”

  • Amari Collins   Amari Collins  

    Amari Collins is currently working as a Casting Associate Producer of Food Network’s top television show Chopped. As a transfer student of Marymount, Amari juggled a full class schedule and multiple internships for companies producing shows such as Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker, ABC’s The View, Showtime’s Homeland, and casted for Broadway’s PippinChicago,and On The Town. After graduation Marymount in 2014 with a Bachelors in Communication Arts with a concentration in Creative Media, Amari’s countless work experience led her to a full time casting position on History Channel’s Pawn Stars as well as FYI’s Tiny House Nation and Food Porn. Amari is also producing and starring in a lifestyle branding web-series called Amore Amari advocating for positivity and strengthening of our true selves.

    “Upon entering my program at USC, I quickly realized just how prepared I was to take on the communication field at the graduate level. MMC’s Communication Arts department is up to speed on the latest knowledge and experience required of a communication professional.”

  • Eliza Levy   Eliza Levy  

    Eliza currently holds the position of Manager of Public Relations for The National Council of Textile Organizations. In this position, Eliza heads-up all Public Relations and Grassroots activities for the organization. Prior to working for NCTO Eliza worked for the White House for the Office of The United States Trade Representative in the Office of Textiles and Apparel, as a Trade Policy Analyst. In this position she developed collateral documents for multi-lateral free trade agreement negotiations. 

  • Emil Lendof   Emil Lendof  

    Emil Lendof graduated from Marymount Manhattan College spring 2014 with a BA in Communication Arts/Graphic Design. He has gone on to work at prestigious media companies such as Mashable, Time Inc., Essence Magazine, Viacom/Nickelodeon. 

  • Jessica Agi   Jessica Agi  

    Jessica Agi was born and raised in Alaska, and graduated in 2010 with a BA in Communication Arts. She began her career by taking advantage of diverse internship opportunities throughout NYC as soon as she had enough credits to qualify. By senior year, she had landed a full-time job as a Producer and Tour Manager at the top comedy web site CollegeHumor.com. Since then, she has worked on over a dozen reality TV shows, including a year spent as a Casting Producer for A&E’s Emmy-nominated show “Hoarders.”  After serving as a Walker Coach with the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, she realized how fulfilling it felt to combine her comprehensive communications background with her passion for helping others. Jessica is now a Master of Public Administration candidate at Seattle University, and currently works in nonprofit development for important social justice issues.

  • Jessica Summers   Jessica Summers  

    Jessica Summers is currently working as an energy reporter for Bloomberg News in New York. She holds a Master’s degree in Business and Economic Reporting from New York University, and prior to that, she graduated as valedictorian from Marymount Manhattan College with a B.A. in Communications and minors in Journalism and Political Science. During college, she also spent a summer abroad at Oxford University, where she studied history and politics. MMC, with its insightful courses, cosmopolitan mix of faculty and students, and motivating environment all helped further her goals. She previously interned on the Corporate Finance Team and Emerging Markets International Team at Bloomberg News and also held internships at CNN International, CNBC Business News and WABC in New York, as well as KPRC in Houston.

    She has also worked as a freelance reporter for OK! Magazine and has interviewed an array of personalities, from Donald Trump to the cast of Saturday Night Live.

  • Lorenza Brascia   Lorenza Brascia  

    Lorenza Brascia is an associate producer in the entertainment unit at CNN’s Los Angeles bureau. In this role, she contributes to general entertainment news gathering efforts, writes for CNN.com, interviews celebrities at awards shows, premieres, and film junkets, and produces web packages for CNN.com. Previously, Brascia worked as a coordinator in the communications office at CNN’s New York bureau. It was here that she started off as an intern and worked her way up to overseeing all junior level press and marketing responsibilities. For every new show or event of interest to CNN, Brascia would travel with key company executives and provide onsite assistance for their needs. Brascia is the ambassador of the communications division at Marymount Manhattan College. She graduated Cum laude in 2013.

    “Just being at MMC was a huge asset to pursuing a career in news. I was able to balance classes in both journalism/communications and politics (my main interest), and simultaneously take advantage of a huge array of internship opportunities throughout the city.” 

  • Richard Cortes   Richard Cortes  

    Marymount Manhattan alumni, Richard Cortes is an Art Coordinator for the Rachael Ray Show.  He is, in part, responsible for all visual elements of the show. Richard acquires all the props and products featured on the show, and he makes sure everything that appears on camera looks perfect. His job involves attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to roll with quick turn-arounds, last minute requests, and unexpected changes. Richard Cortes, on his experience as an Art Coordinator for the Rachael Ray Show: It’s a challenge… But it’s also never boring, involves wacky experiences you’ll never get anywhere else, and lots of fun”!
