Marymount’s Program Evaluation Tool (EVAL) is an advising tool for students and faculty to monitor degree progress online through MMC Connect.  It helps students determine how many credits remain until graduation, assists in the facilitation of advisement sessions, and allows students to track their own degree process.

The Griffin Guide takes you directly to the official student handbook for the college.  This can answer basic questions for you about policies, academic honors, and student rights.

The ASHA website describes the Speech- Language Pathology profession.  It provides information to plan for your education, provides a list of student resources, and also gives you suggestions on what to do and how to get started after graduation.

This link to the ASHA website takes you directly to the NSSLHA student section.  Benefits of membership include discounts on materials and conventions, access to technical assistance and resources from ASHA, print subscriptions of periodicals, and access to the ASHA career center.

Most majoring CSD students participate in the Speech Club, Marymount Manhattan College’s award-winning NSSLHA chapter. 

Students in the speech-language pathology major will be required to comply with HIPAA privacy rules for the protection of health and mental health information.  The HIPAA certification course may be a requirement for CSD majors. Please contact Dr. Signorelli for more details.
