HEOP High School To College Young Men’s Initiative

Marymount Manhattan College’s Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) would like to invite you to our High School to College Young Men’s Initiative on Wednesday, January, 17th from 2:00 pm -7:00 pm.  The initiative is aimed at assisting young men from low income backgrounds get a head start in the college application process and supporting them as they take their first steps towards their collegiate pursuits. This will be done through a series of workshops, information sessions and panels. This program has been specifically built for High School seniors currently applying to college only.

Along with prospective applicants, we also highly encourage the attendance of parents, guardians, and High School Counselors. Workshops and Q&A sessions designed specifically for them will also be included.

COUNSELORS: We are allowing each school to select two students who they believe would benefit the most from this program and be a great fit for Marymount Manhattan College. This event is capped at 30 students and will be based on a first come first serve basis.

  • Choice of College Success Workshop to Attend
  • Q&A Panel by current Marymount Manhattan College young men
  • Online Application walk through from beginning to completion (All application fees are waived)
  • Guaranteed individual interview for potential admission to the program
