The Center for Academic Support and Tutoring, (CAST), will offer a Graduate Record Exam, (GRE), preparatory class beginning February 9, 2018. The course will meet Fridays, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for 7 weeks. Alumni/a, currently enrolled students, and MMC staff members who are planning on taking the exam or simply contemplating graduate school are warmly welcomed to attend. The GRE prep course is free of charge and can be attended on campus in-person or remotely via Zoom software, which can also be accessed free of charge. The course is instructor lead in real-time and utilizes Kaplan test prep resources, which are provided, free of charge, to participants.
If you have been considering returning to school for an advanced degree, attending even just the first session may be helpful to you because the instructor will offer an overview of how institutions use and assign value to the exam, how to research and select the best grad program for yourself, and what acceptance committees look for in candidates.
For additional information, please contact the CAST office at 212-774-4820 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Prior registration is not required for in-person attendance. Classes will be held at the MMC main campus in CAST, located in Nugent Hall, Room 451. For remote attendance and access, please call or email us prior to the first class so that we may provide you with remote access log-in credentials.
