The MMC R.E.A.D.S. (Racial Equity And Dialogue Series) Book Club was developed to provide a space of continued learning for faculty and staff interested in better understanding issues of race and racism. 

The MMC R.E.A.D.S. (Racial Equity And Dialogue Series) Book Club was developed to provide a space of continued learning for faculty and staff interested in better understanding issues of race and racism. Participants of all levels of understanding around race and racism are invited to meet once a month to engage in honest and thoughtful dialogue about the selected readings. 

The selection for Spring 2020 is “How to Be an Antiracist” by Ibram X Kendi. This book will be provided to all participants for free on behalf of the Thomas J. Shanahan Library.

The first meeting will take place on Tuesday February 18 at 1pm in the Regina Peruggi Room
