Racial Equity in Practice

Whether we are actively aware of it or not, each of our lives have been influenced by race. This workshop will encourage participants to examine the ways we have been socialized around race and have come to internalized messages received in our families, communities and greater society to develop Internalized Racial Superiority or Internalized Racial Inferiority. This interactive workshop requires participants to explore their upbringings and how their understanding of their racial identity impacts the spaces we occupy. Affinity breakout rooms will allow space to more fully explore within shared racial groups.

Please Note: You must RSVP for each workshop individually. The same zoom link will be used for all 4 workshops.

Registration for this event is now closed.
