On Monday, May 2, the MMC Science Society/Student Chapter of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology hosted two organ transplant recipients for a lively panel discussion on the benefits of organ donation.
MMC students heard from James Martin, a cornea recipient, and Kevin Robberson, a double lung recipient. James Martin is a retired MMC faculty member from the Art department. Students discussed the benefits of organ donation and signed up for the New York State Organ Donor Registry. For more info on organ donation or to register to become a donor, click here.
