Ben Paljor Chatag ’15 studied traditional Tibetan Thangka painting at the Thangde Gatsul Painting School in Dharamsala, India before completing a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Studio Art at MMC.

Now a professional artist and a Global Advisor at The James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation, Chatag was the subject of a featured profile by The Stewardship Report, an online newspaper whose theme is “Connecting Goodness.”

In the profile, Ben shared that “his two years at Marymount Manhattan College exposed him to the power of art in expressing things that matter to him. That exploration motivated him to become a professional artist.”
