Lindsay Green, a 2016 alumna in Theatre Arts and currently the Coordinator of Disability Services at MMC, was featured in the Shawangunk Journal for her work on Addy & Uno.

Addy & Uno—off-Broadway’s first family musical about disability and bullying—debuted at the 14th Street Y this past fall, thanks to a major collaboration of MMC faculty, students, staff, and alumni.

MMC’s Nava R. Silton, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Psychology, headed up the creative team, as the musical was based on her widely successful Realabilities Educational Comic Book Series, a 10 comic-book series for students about disability, strength, and friendship.

The musical stood out as the quintessential MMC project—one that is collaborative, creative, and groundbreaking, and addresses social problems with creativity. A wide variety of MMC students, faculty, staff, and alumni participated in the vision and production of the show, including Lindsay, who worked on lighting and sound design.
