IS Student to Present Research at NYSPA and Pi Sigma Alpha Conferences

International Studies senior Amne Madi has been selected by two separate organizations to present her research this spring at their annual conferences.

Amne’s paper, “The Ethics of Chemical Warfare,” has been accepted to be part of the 2018 Pi Sigma Alpha National Student Conference which took place on Saturday, February 17th at George Washington University.

The second conference, through the New York State Political Science Association, will take place at Wagner College in Staten Island. While this conference accepts faculty and graduate student proposals, NYSPSA also hosts a limited number of panels for undergraduate students.

Both of the research projects were overseen by Dr. Jennifer Mueller of the International Studies program here at Marymount Manhattan College. Congratulations to Amne for earning this impressive and exciting opportunity!
