Meet the 2019 Student Commencement Speaker, Billie Sangha!

Get to know the Cinema, Television, and Emerging Media major from California who was selected as this year’s Student Speaker for the 2019 Commencement ceremony at Lincoln Center.

Jaswin “Billie” Sangha moved to New York City to pursue an education and career in digital media and youth development. Her passion for working with young people and for minority representation in film and television has been a defining characteristic of her professional and academic reputation. Throughout her time at MMC, Billie has worked tirelessly as a student leader, teacher, and multi-media artist with the goal of making a difference in the lives of others through both education and entertainment.
