MMC’s partnership with Akademos will enable a seamless process for faculty to post and order textbooks and course materials and will give students expanded access to a vast selection of low-cost textbooks through a personalized online ordering experience. By leveraging Akademos’ full-service platform, the College will benefit from a more transparent, convenient, and cost-effective solution to manage course materials and measure usage.
“At Marymount Manhattan College, we are committed to the success of our students, and one important way to help them succeed is by addressing textbook affordability,” says Sharon Meagher, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty. “Utilizing a centralized, online platform that expands selection and lowers costs is an innovative step forward that allows our students easy access to affordable textbooks.”
