Science Senior Spotlight: Elena Markovitz ’21
Elena Markovitz ’21 will be proudly graduating with her BS in Biology, ready to apply her skills to the ever-changing world of the biological sciences. During the summer, she will be working three internships: one with New York Audubon Society and Cornell University tracking and leading data collection on horseshoe crabs on New York’s beaches, another with Marymount Manhattan as a data intern for the Biology Post Bac program, and the third as a Junior Scientist at the BioBus Outreach program. After that, Elena plans to take a gap year, then return to graduate school to pursue a doctorate in the fields of Environmental Science and Marine Biology. Go Griffins!
