The Department of Natural Sciences is delighted to honor seven Biology students with scholarships from three distinguished sources.
First-year students Christa Coburn ’25, Juliet Hernandez ’25, and Dayanara Hidalgo Ambrosi ’25 have received scholarships from the George and Kathleen Austin Foundation for the academic year 2021-2022. As the inaugural crop of Austin Scholars, Christa, Dayanara, and Juliet represent excellence in science and act as student ambassadors in departmental events throughout the academic year.
Shadé Eleazer ’22 and Amanda Franks ’22 received the Wehman Scholarship . Jade Johnsamson ’22 and Iris Parke ’23 received the Kathleen DeBlasio Science Outreach Scholarship .
