Profs. Epelbaum & Oksman to Teach Summer Writing Workshop at NYU

This summer, Prof. Diana Epelbaum and Prof. Tahneer Oksman will return to New York University for Network Summer, a series of workshops hosted by the Faculty Resource Network.

In summer 2021, Drs. Epelbaum and Oksman initially presented their Academic Writing workshop, “Writing and Research Across the Curriculum in an Age of Disinformation,” as a virtual one-week course.

This summer, they will return in-person to teach undergraduate faculty members a redesigned iteration of the workshop, now called “Writing and Research Across the Curriculum: Embodied and Digital Place in an Age of Disinformation.” With a new focus on place, the seminar will bring professors on field trips around New York, encouraging them to utilize place-based methodologies in teaching Academic Writing.

Professors of all disciplines from across the country will have the opportunity to take this workshop and refine their understanding of writing, research, and the mentorship of students.

Congratulations to Dr. Epelbaum and Dr. Oksman!
