Photo Gallery: Celebating The Carol ’13 and Walter Berman Studio
On June 20, alumni and friends gathered in The Judy, MMC’s visual arts center, to celebrate the naming of the Carol ’13 and Walter Berman Studio.
A devoted alumna and member of the College’s Board of Trustees, Carol is the recipient of two alumni awards and was the 2019 honoree of MMC’s Annual Scholarship Benefit. “We are so proud and so honored by you,” said MMC President Kerry Walk. “You love the College, and the College loves you back.”
Carol and Walter Berman’s name graces The Judy’s drawing and painting studio, which is filled with eye-catching student work. They expressed their gratitude to the MMC community for the impact the College has had on their lives.
“In my whole life, I could never fathom that we would have a space named for us,” said Carol. “This studio has inspired many Marymount students. What a place! The creative heart of MMC, the school that gave me so much during my four years as a student and continues to give me so much enjoyment.”
