Kaitlin Nichols

Class of 2012, Major in Sociology

Since graduating from Marymount Manhattan College in 2012, Kaitlin has completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and has begun a career as a social worker in New York City. Kaitlin worked at the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center, an organization offering a job readiness program in addition to educational advisement and assistance to 17-24 year-olds who are experiencing difficulty finding work or pursuing their education. In her role as Retention Case Manager, Kaitlin worked with young adults who were either enrolled in or graduated from their programming to provide guidance, support, and benefits assistance to complement the job training provided by the program. She currently works as a case manager for Easterseals New Jersey, a nonprofit providing children and adults with special needs, developmental and physical disabilities, and mental illness with a safe and supportive space for skills building, training and employment at Easterseals facilities, family educational assistance, and numerous other services.
