“What you obtain through the GSS program is invaluable to your experience in an urban culture. Richer conversations, political insights, wider eyes—this minor makes you react. The conversations held in class were the most intricate, cathartic, and rewarding in my time at Marymount and the application of what you learn lives well beyond your undergraduate years.”
Sarah graduated with a BA in Communication Arts in 2014 and picked up a minor in Gender and Sexuality studies along the way. She currently lives in Manhattan, works at a web engineering tech start-up, and continues to pursue the field of documentary filmmaking, focusing particularly on the social subjects of her surrounding city.
